Prize to a polish physicist for PhD concerned with nuclear science - by Jan Styczen 16/01/2013 @ 12:57

Service de Coopération et d’Action Culturelle (SCAC) of French Embassy in Warsaw sent a letter to Prof. Adam MAJ Coordinator of COPIN-IN2P3 cooperation (see fragments attached below),  informing on a project of awarding the best PhD of a polish researcher in nuclear sciences.
Candidates should be presented to Prof. Adam MAJ.

*******************
Dear Prof. Adam MAJ,

/…/
One of our main project for 2013 is to create a Franco-Polish Prize for the best PhD in the field of nuclear sciences. This Prize would be awarded to Polish researchers who are in the last years of PhD (3rd or 4th year) or who graduated 5 years ago maximum (i.e. from 2009).

We would be particularly interested in candidates who collaborate or have collaborated strongly with France (franco-polish "cotutelle" joint PhD, masters degree get in France, etc.) but our main criterion remains the scientific quality of the research carried out.

/…/ We need basic information about them i.e. name, surname, phone number, email address and thesis title, so we can contact them in the next months in order to participate to the Prize contest. /…/
Best Regards
